Shipping and Returns

Delivery

We offer free express delivery for an item over $50 and standard delivery for any item under $50 for delivery to your address. If your delivery address is an international address, you also agree to pay for all customs, duties, taxes and any additional shipping expenses. We are not responsible for any customs delays or additional taxes or duties at any time. Goods may be delivered by FedEx, USPS, Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies. Free express delivery will take between 1-5 days. Standard free delivery will take between 7-15 days. Deliveries are processed promptly upon receipt of full payment. Any express delivery (for items under $50) or urgent deliveries will incur additional fees. Some of our jewellery offers do not include standard shipping (for example when we have free give-aways), and you will be responsible for the shipping costs where indicated. All the product pages have a delivery time frame mentioned. At the checkout also there will be prompt for the delivery time frame.

We will email or text you depending on the option you choose, with confirmation of your purchase, tracking number and estimated arrival date for your purchase. You can check online for the progress of your delivery on our Order Status page or using your nominated courier website tracking number on their website.

We are not responsible for any delay in delivery which is beyond our reasonable control such as weather, customs, force majeure or any other issue which may be out of our control.

You acknowledge and agree:

  • Any person at the delivery address provided, who signs for or takes delivery of the Goods is authorised to receive those Goods;
  • if you specifically request that the Goods be left at the delivery address without any person responsible, you assume all risk in the Goods from the point of drop-off; and
  • otherwise, risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery.

Warranties, Refunds and Repairs

We will at all times, comply with the requirements in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth); the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including, but not limited to the re-supply or refund of any Goods supplied or provided which do not meet ACL requirements. If the Goods are faulty, if they have been wrongly described, or are different from a sample shown to you, or do not do what they are supposed to do, then you may elect to exchange the Goods, receive a refund or credit. If the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality you are entitled to have the Goods repaired. All Goods must be returned in their original condition to enable a refund, credit, or exchange. They must be sent using our return shipping label (where provided) which covers the shipping costs and includes insurance coverage. You may however, be liable for local taxes and import duties.

In some circumstances, if the Goods need to be repaired or serviced and the ACL requirements do not apply, we will repair or service the Goods, and additional fees will apply. For example, if they need repairing due to accident, misuse, alteration, or abnormal wear and tear. Please notify us at info@splendidjewellery.com and we will provide a quote and information for repair or servicing.

We cannot provide a refund if it is a special order to customer specification, or if Goods have been engraved or modified as per your request.

Refunds: We offer a full refund on the Goods if you change your mind or the Goods are the wrong size. You must return the Goods in new condition, unused and unworn, within 30 days of receipt by you, in the original packaging. We do not reimburse the return shipping cost for change of mind or incorrect size selection and you are responsible for shipping and insurance costs as well as ensuring the Goods reach us. We cannot exchange or refund any jewellery with piercings.

If you wish to return something you purchased using AfterPay/Klarna/Zippay we can only offer an exchange of goods or store credit. You will continue to be charged by AfterPay/Klarna/Zippay until you have paid all your dues.

Lifetime Warranty: In addition to your rights under the ACL, we offer a lifetime manufacturing defect warranty for any Tungsten Carbide Ring. If you notice a defect in your item you can return the item. Returns must be sent using our return shipping label which includes shipping costs and insurance coverage. You are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes and additional costs. We will then assess the item and offer you an exchange, refund or repair.

TUNGSTEN CARBIDE RING GUARANTEES

Our Tungsten carbide rings come with additional guarantees. If your ring cracks or breaks from accidental damage, it will be replaced at no cost (note: this guarantee does not include any international taxes, duties or customs fees). If your finger changes size over time it will also be replaced with a new sized ring. You need to ship the Tungsten carbide ring to us, using our return shipping label which includes shipping costs and insurance coverage. You are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes and additional costs. Please note that this guarantee does not apply to gold, silver, platinum, titanium or custom made items.

PRICE GUARANTEE

If you find a cheaper item from another online retailer that we stock over the value of $5000, we will refund you the difference between the cheaper item and the purchase price you have paid. The cheaper item you find must be a like for like product in terms of brand, quality, size, weight and lead time from an online retailer. This price guarantee is valid for a limited period of 30 days from the date of purchase from us.

CERTIFICATIONS

We provide jewellery certifications (including GIA/ AGS/ GCAL) for an additional cost. You can purchase a certification, where available, at checkout.
